Applying For Scholarships
Upon admission to Washburn Law, each student is automatically considered for institutional scholarships. For most scholarships no additional information is required.
Generous contributions from alumni and friends make it possible for the School of Law to award more than $2.2 million annually in institutional scholarships:
- Almost 45% of the student body receives scholarships.
- Twenty-five percent of entering students receive nearly full resident scholarships; some receive more.
- Scholarships retain their value: if tuition increases, a scholarship increases to keep pace.
Note: At Washburn Law students must maintain a 2.80 GPA to retain their scholarships. Students who lose their scholarship for academic reasons automatically regain the scholarship when their cumulative GPA is raised to 2.80 or higher.
