9:00 a.m. — Check-inSchool of Law, 2nd Floor Lobby

9:15 a.m. — Introduction to Washburn Law

9:30 a.m. — Academic Programs

Participants will be able to meet and visit with professors who teach and work on a regular basis with students in the classroom, the Law Clinic, the library, through the Centers for Excellence, and in the numerous certificate programs.

10:30 a.m. — Break

10:45 a.m. — Career Opportunities and Student Mentoring Program

You will learn about the state of the regional and national legal market, employment opportunities as a student, the first year student mentor program, and the services provided to students by the law school.

11:00 a.m. — Scholarships and Financial Aid

11:15 a.m. — Tours of Law School and Courtroom Demonstration

12:15 p.m. — "Student Life" LuncheonBradbury Thompson Alumni Center

Join representatives from Washburn Law student organizations and other current students for lunch in an informal setting to answer your questions about their experiences and opportunities during law school. Brief formal remarks will be made by a current student leader and a noted Washburn Law graduate about student life at Washburn Law and beyond.

1:30 p.m. — Open House Adjourns
