Go GOLD!

The GOLD Club (Graduates Of the Last Decade) provides a unique way for graduates from 2011-2003 to be involved in shaping Washburn Law for future students. This recognition program is designed specifically for Washburn Law's recent alumni. For most, the first decade out of law school presents several financial challenges — finding a job, paying off student loans and possibly starting a family.

Because we recognize the value of recent alumni contributions lies well beyond just the amount on the check, this program provides the membership and benefits of the law school's elite Dean's Circle at a discounted rate. GOLD Club members help ensure the highest quality education, taught by a world-class faculty, in a setting conducive to learning. The GOLD Club was created to foster a deeper relationship between the law school and its recent alumni. In addition, GOLD Club members are routinely asked to make their assistance and counsel available to the Dean.

Every Graduate of the Last Decade is granted access to join the Dean's Circle for a gift of $100 times the number of years since graduation. Normally, an annual gift of $1,000 or more to the Annual Fund, to an endowed fund, or to any program at the law school entitles you to membership in the Dean's Circle. However, the law school has introduced the GOLD Club to make it affordable for recent alumni to network with other Dean's Circle members.

GOLD Club membership is renewable on an annual basis. Corporate matching gifts count toward membership. To be a member of this recognition society, you must pay your pledge by the end of the fiscal year, which ends on June 30.
