Bar Admission Requirements
Each state has its own requirements regarding character and fitness and other qualifications for admission to the bar. If you have concerns about the application of these requirements to you, they should be addressed to the appropriate bar admission authorities in the state in which you intend to practice. Bar Exam Preparation
Each semester Washburn Law sponsors bar exam preparation seminars for students wondering what to expect when it comes time to take the bar exam. These seminars
- help students develop a strategy to study for the exam;
- outline the structure of the exam, the subject areas tested, how the bar exam is scored, bar exam loans, and differences between the various commercial bar preparation programs;
- critique sample answers to essay exam questions to illustrate best practice, with an emphasis on highlighting the differences between answering bar exam and law school exam essay questions.
Students from all classes are encouraged to attend these seminars.
