Law Student Employment Policy
Although part-time employment in law-related fields can substantially assist law students both financially and professionally, such employment can also impose time pressures that detract significantly from law studies. Students enrolled in 10 or more hours may not engage in outside employment in excess of 20 hours per week. If a student chooses to be employed more than 20 hours per week, the student must enroll in fewer than 10 hours and lengthen the period of law study.

National Center for Adoption Law & Policy's Adoption JobSite is a free, national job matching service for law students interested in child welfare and adoption law and policy. It seeks to provide law students an opportunity to work in these fields with hopes that some will choose to pursue full-time employment in these areas in the public, private or non-profit sector upon graduation from law school.
ABA Rule of Law Initiatives
The ABA Rule of Law Initiative is comprised of over 400 staff and volunteers in over 40 countries, including the U.S. The Initiative enlists talented individuals who possess the skills and commitment necessary to effectively promote the rule of law in host countries.
