Washburn Law moved in April 1914 to 211 W 6th Street. The entire school marched with drums and flags from West 6th to the main Washburn campus in celebration. The new location was midway between the Shawnee County Courthouse, the district court and other federal offices, the police court and the Kansas Supreme Court.

Washburn Law is celebrating its centennial.

We invite you to join us in our Centennial Celebration. This three-year event will spotlight activities of our Fall 2003 entering class in alumni gathering held in Topeka and throughout the United States. Washburn Law's reputation as an exceptional law school is a result of our outstanding alumni, faculty and students, and university and community involvement. The previous 100 years have been extraordinary and monumental. With your help we will make the next 100 years as remarkable as the first.
