Lunch & Learn: Understanding SOPA (The Stop Online Piracy Act)

She will present a Lunch & Learn presentation at noon in Room 102.

Poor has been with Nintendo since 2008. She guides the legal department, operations/compliance, and corporate communications in developing and implementing a broad range of legal and policy issues.

Prior to joining Nintendo, Poor was the Policy Planning Advisor and Senior Attorney with the U.S. Copyright Office, Office of Policy and International Affairs. She has also worked as an attorney for the Motion Picture Association and in the Music Industry.

Poor is a 1990 graduate of Washburn University School of Law.

Washburn University's Constitution Day Celebration presents Robin B. Wright, an internationally recognized journalist, author and foreign policy analyst, will discuss her newest book, "Rock the Casbah: Rage and Rebellion Across the Islamic World," 7 p.m., Washburn Room-Memorial Union (no charge), sponsored by the Washburn University School of Law Center for Law and Government, Kansa Institute of Politics, Washburn Student Government Association, Washburn President's Office, History Department, and the Political Science Department.
