Washburn Business Law Society 2004-2005 Officers

Photograph: Amy Kutschka.Amy Kutschka is a second year student from Salina, Kansas and serves as the President of Washburn Business Law Society. Amy received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Washburn with emphasis in Finance, Economics, and Management. Amy is involved and serves in leadership roles in several activities. Amy’s leadership has aided the Business and Transactional Law Center in hosting several top-notch speakers and programs for students. Amy also works part time at the Kansas Department of Revenue as a law clerk.

Brian Clarke is from Great Bend, Kansas. He graduated summa cum laude from Washburn University with a B.B.A. in Finance and Accounting. Brian was a recipient of the May 2003 Sibberson Award given to the top two graduates from Washburn University. As an undergraduate, Brian was active in Sigma Phi Epsilon, Washburn Student Ambassadors, and was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi honor society. In addition to serving as vice-president of the Business and Transactional Law Society, Brian serves as treasurer of the Washburn Student Bar Association and is a research assistant for Professor Ronald Griffin.

Photograph: Megan Mercer.Megan Mercer is a second year student from Topeka, Kansas. She graduated from the University of Kansas with Distinction in 2003 majoring in Communication Studies and minoring in Anthropology. Megan currently works at the Shawnee County Court house as a law clerk.

Photograph: Angela Robinson.Angela Robinson is a second year student from Kansas City, Kansas. She came to Washburn after graduating summa cum laude from Pittsburg State University (PSU) with a B.A. in Communications in 2003. While at PSU, Angela was the editor of the campus newspaper, the Collegio. Angela currently commutes from Kansas City, Kansas and works part time at the Kansas Securities Commission as a law clerk.
