Native American Law Practice Concentration

In this practice concentration, students represent Native American members of the community in a broad range of cases litigated in several different settings. Case types include a wide array of civil matters as well as criminal defense matters. Interns handle these cases in municipal court, state district court and in tribal courts. The focus of this practice concentration provides students with a well-rounded experience, spanning several substantive areas of law. By focusing on representing the Native community, students may gather valuable skill in the dynamics of cross-cultural client counseling.
