General Information
- Advance Registration for Summer 2008 is available to students on the web from April 7 through April 11.
- Students who are currently enrolled for Spring 2008 may participate.
- You can enroll from home, work, or on campus through your MyWashburn account. (Enrollment begins at 12:00 a.m. on the assigned days.)
- Access Summer 2008 registration by logging into MyWashburn. Under the "Students" tab, in the right column under "Student Self-Service/Registration," select "Register for Courses/Add or Drop Classes."
- Build your course schedule by following the instructions provided.
- You will only be able to register on your specified dates and during Open Registration.
- NOTE: A student's classification is based on the number of credit hours the student has completed at Washburn and any transfer credit hours that have been posted. Courses in progress (i.e., Spring 2008) will NOT be counted.
- Registration PINS (alternate PINs) have been emailed to all currently enrolled law students. If you did not receive your registration PIN, please contact Donna Haverkamp.
- Staff in the Dean's Office will be available during business hours to answer any questions about how to do registration or to provide assistance with registration. The staff will not enroll students in person but will assist students who are having difficulty with the registration process on the web.
Classification Schedule for Summer 2008 Enrollment
Students may enroll April 7 through April 11, 2008 according to the following schedule:
- More than or equal to 50 credit hours ONLY on April 7 and April 8
- More than or equal to 17 and less than 50 credit hours ONLY on April 9 and April 10
- Less than 17 credit hours ONLY on April 11
Open Registration is for everyone. Summer 2008 open registration is from April 25 to July 8.
Anyone who misses their designated registration date or who wants to make changes to their summer schedule, can enroll during Open Registration. ALL students should advance register, including currently enrolled first-year law students.
The Intensive Trial Advocacy Program (ITAP) begins Sunday, May 18. Classes for the first 6-week summer session and the 12-week summer session begin May 27, 2008. Classes for the second 6-week summer session begin July 7, 2008.
