Washburn University School of Law hosted an open house for prospective law students on January 23, 2001. This event provided individuals with an interest in Washburn with the opportunity to become better acquainted with the law school, its faculty and staff, and the facilities. Attendees were able to sit in on various classes, hear appellate arguments before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit sitting in the Robinson Courtroom, meet with students who led tours of the building, and have their questions concerning law school answered by faculty. A buffet lunch at the Washburn Student Union was also provided.
