Becky Sanders speaks on Unemployment Compensation

Sanders gave students basic information about unemployment compensation. Unemployment compensation is designed to partially replace lost wages when an individual is unemployed.

Sanders discussed the process an unemployed individual must go through to receive unemployment compensation, and how one becomes eligible for unemployment. Sanders detailed the process an employer or claimant must go through to appeal a judge’s ruling to the appeals board of review. Sanders also addressed statutory changes, special issues, and special situations.
