Washburn Law Students Recognized by Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation with Tuition Scholarships

Dean Thomas J. Romig has been notified that three Washburn Law students have been awarded Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation tuition scholarships. The Foundation received 102 scholarship applications from students at 23 of the Foundation’s Constituent Law Schools. Three students from Washburn received a total of $27,000 in scholarship money. They are: Courtney Kelley, Adeel Syed, and Tony Ford.

Photograph: Adeel Syed Syed is clerking with the Wichita, Kansas law firm of Foulston Siefkin and will be doing an externship with Chevron, USA in Houston, Texas.
Photograph: Tony Ford Ford is clerking this summer with the Crowley Fleck firm in Bismarck, North Dakota. Courtney also received a scholarship from the Foundation in 2013 as a 1L.
