Bowman, '96, appointed to US Federal Reserve

Washburn Law congratulates Michelle “Miki” Bowman, ’96, on being appointed to the U.S. Federal Reserve’s board of governors. Her role is specifically earmarked for either a community banker or a community bank regulator.

Bowman was previously the state bank commissioner of Kansas. She also served as vice president of Farmers & Drovers Bank in Kansas from 2010 to 2017. She has also served as counsel to the U.S. House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, as well as the U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.
