Patrik W. Neustrom Practitioner in Residence

Neustrom Practitioner in Residence program allows Washburn University School of Law and the Center for Excellence in Advocacy to host practitioners and scholars of distinction at the law school to speak to students, judges, and practicing lawyers about advocacy-related areas and topics.

This program is made possible by the generous support of Patrick Neustrom. Neustrom earned his JD from Washburn University School of Law in 1976. He previously received his BA with honors from University of Kansas in 1974. While at Washburn Law, Neustrom was selected to and published in the Washburn Law Journal and was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Scholastic Fraternity.

Neustrom has been a partner in the Salina, Kansas law firm of Neustrom & Associates since 2005. His practice focuses on general civil litigation, with an emphasis on personal injury, traumatic brain injuries, wrongful death, automobile, truck, medical malpractice, products liability, nursing home, workers' compensation, and exotic torts.

Neustrom has given presentations on Traumatic Brain Injuries at the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association (KTLA) Automobile Law Seminar and KTLA's Best of Continuing Legal Education Seminars. He has also presented at the annual meeting of the Kansas Brain Injury Association and is involved with national brain injury education and trial groups.
