Janet Todwong came to the Washburn Law Library in 2002. From 2002 to 2008 she worked as a Library Assistant I in Technical Services. In 2008 Janet became the Digital Projects/Special Collections Librarian. Her job duties include: Collecting faculty writings for archival preservation, collecting or creating electronic versions of faculty publications for distribution to various scholarly repositories, organizing the law school archives and creating finding aids to existing archival materials, and staffing the reference desk.
Before coming to Washburn, Ms. Todwong worked in the libraries at Wichita State University, the National Agricultural Research Organization, Kampala, Uganda, the British Council, Kampala, Uganda, and the Uganda Supreme Court.
Ms. Todwong received her Bachelor of Library and Information Science from Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda and her Masters in Library and Information Management from Emporia State University. In 2006, Ms. Todwong received a Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society award.
