Time for preparation during the class is extremely limited. In order to get the maximum benefit from the class, it is imperative that students prepare as much as possible in advance. PRE-CLASS PREPARATION REQUIRES THAT STUDENTS READ THE MATERIAL AND BECOME FAMILIAR WITH THE FACTS ASSOCIATED WITH EACH PROBLEM OR FILE.

Students will receive an email at least ten days prior to the first class session giving them their assigned role as representing either the Plantiff or Defendant in a civil case [BMI v. Minicom, Inc.]. Students should then purchase or otherwise secure the BMI case file corresponding to their side of the case.
