Setting up Windows Live Mail 2011 with MyWashburn Email


  1. Step 1Click on the Account tab and click on Email to begin an account.
  2. Step 2Click Add...
  3. Step 3Click Email Account.
  4. Step 4Enter your credentials and check the box that says Manually configure server settings.
  5. Step 3
      Incoming server Information:
    • Server type: IMAP
    • Server address: mail.washburn.edu
    • Port: 993
    • Check 'Requires a secure connection (SSL)

      Outgoing server information:
    • Server address: mail.washburn.edu
    • Check 'Requires a secure connections (SSL)
    • Check 'Requires authentication
    • Click Next.
  6. Step 3Click Finish. Try sendiong yourself an email to make sure you have configured your email correctly.
