How To Install Wireless Printers & Setup Double-Sided Printing on a Mac

Install the Clinic Printers

  1. Click the Step 1icon in the upper left corner of your screen and select System Preferences.
  2. Step 2Click on Print & Fax.
  3. Step 3Click the plus button to add a new printer.
  4. Step 5Select the IP tab. In the Protocol drop down bar select Internet Printing Protocol - IPP. Type the IP address (listed below) for the printer you wish to add in the Address bar. Type a name in the Name bar that you will remember. Select Generic PostScript Printer. Then click Add.

    • Clinic Printer 1 - 172.16.205.215
    • Clinic Printer 2 - 172.16.205.220
  5. Step 7 Check the Duplex Unit checkbox; click Add.
  6. Step 8 When printing from an the browser, check the Two-Sided checkbox within your print screen. You may have to click on the arrow to the right of the printer name to see the options.

    ** When printing from Word follow these steps to print double-sided:
    • Click the drop down on Copies & Pages; select 'Layout'
    • Click the drop down on Two-Sided; select 'Long-edge binding'
