How To Install the Wireless Printers on Windows XP
If you have not downloaded the printer drivers, go now to 'How To Install A Wireless Printer Driver.'

Install the Printer
Click the Start button to begin; then select Settings, then select Control Panel followed by Printers and Faxes and Select 'Add a printer' from the 'Printer Tasks' menu.
Click 'Next.'
Make sure the Automatically detect ... checkbox is NOT selected, then click 'Next'
Be sure to select Create a new port with Standard TCP/IP Port in the slot.
Click 'Next'
Type in the IP number in the first box as shown. (All printers will use the same driver.)
- Wireless 1 is 198.252.9.137 (2nd Floor)
- Wireless 2 is 198.252.9.158 (2nd Floor)
- Wireless 3 is 198.252.9.168 (3rd Floor)
- Wireless 4 is 198.252.9.169 (4th Floor)
- Wireless Lab Printer 1 is 198.252.9.141 (2nd Floor in Lab)
- Wireless Lab Printer 2 is 198.252.9.142 (2nd Floor in Lab)
Click 'Finish'.
'HP Laserjet 4250 PCL6' will not be an available option in the list of printer drivers since this is the first time we are installing this driver. Click the 'Have Disk' button.
We want to 'Browse' to the location of the driver we just installed.
Browse to your Local Disk (C:) where you will see a HP folder. Inside the folder is the printer driver with a .inf extension. Select this file and click 'Open' and then 'OK'.
Select 'HP LaserJet 4250 PCL 6' from the options presented next, and then click 'Next.'
If you are presented with the question of whether to use the existing driver, choose to do so.
Name the printer anything that you want and decide if you want this printer to be your default printer, then click 'Next.'
Click 'Next.'
You will want to print a test page to verify that your installation works. Click 'Yes' and 'Next.'
Click 'Finish'.
Click 'OK' and you are done. Your new printer should appear in the 'Printers and Faxes' screen.- Now you are ready to set your printer up for Double-Sided Printing.
