OmniForm is a complete solution for creating, filling, and managing electronic forms. It is the easiest way to convert your paper forms, design new forms, distribute forms in a variety of formats, fill out forms, maintain form records in a searchable database, and publish forms on the Web.
Scanning Procedure
- Click on the folder on the desktop labeled “Scanning.”
- Click on the icon labeled “OmniForm Premium 5.0.”

Choose Scan a form or image file. Click Next. -
Choose Scanner. Click Next. -
Choose the size of document you put in the scanner. Click Next. -
Choose the form's design by following the directions on the screen. Click Next. -
Load your form into the scanner. Place your image in the flatbed face down with the top at the corner marked "Place corner here" on the scanner. Or place in between the guides of the document feeder, print side up, top side first. - Click Finish.

Allow the scanner to scan. -
The proofreader emerges. Follow the directions in the left hand column and proceed to proofread the form, or click Finish. -
If you have more than one page, you will need to add pages. Click on the Edit tab in the toolbar. Select Add Pages. If you have only one page, skip to step #13. -
Type in the number of pages you are adding in the Add box. Select either After Current Page or Before Current Page. Click OK. -
You will see a blank screen: Choose Scan Form from the toolbar. -
Click on OK on the scan screen. -
Your second page will be scanned in, and the proofreader will be ready to use. -
Notice the bottom of the screen. There are now 2 pages there, and you can toggle between them and proofread both. -
When you have completed scanning, Save your scan. Choose File in the upper left corner of your screen. On the drop down menu, choose Save AS.... -
In the drop down box Save in find the location you wish to save the file. This will be the "P" drive on the computer for students (public) or your CD or thumb drive.
- In the drop down box Save as type choose the application you wish to work with. (RTF is a common choice).
- In the drop down box File name type in the name you wish to name your file.
- Choose Save.
- Your document is now available where you saved it. Exit the application by clicking on the X in the upper right hand corner, or choose Exit on the File menu. Take your disk or thumb drive.
