How To Use a Scanner
Washburn University School of Law has four scanners available for your scanning needs in the Wsahburn Law Library. One scanner is located at the Reference Desk on the second floor of the Law Library. The other three scanners are located on the second floor of the library in the same area as the wireless printers 1 and 2.
On each scanner there are three programs available for your scanning needs. Each program has unique capabilities. Click on any of the links below to find the scanning instructions for that program.
HP Director
The easiest way to scan photos or text. Scan text into your computer so that it can be edited. Scan multiple pages easily by using the document feeder. Just push a few buttons on the scanner, and follow these directions. There are simple wordprocessing proofreading capabilities, plus the ability to resize, crop, copy, paste, print, rotate, sharpen, color and save images.
