Interlibrary Loan

Washburn Law Students & Faculty

Washburn Law students and faculty may request materials not owned by the library. The interlibrary loan request form is available at the Circulation Desk or online.

Interlibrary loans are usually obtained without cost, but sometimes lending libraries charge fees for both books and photocopies. If there is a cost associated with borrowing an item, the patron will be notified of the cost. Patrons have the option of either paying the fee associated with borrowing the materials, or declining. Items will not be ordered until the patron has made a decision. Materials can usually obtained within one week, but delivery may take two weeks or longer.

Alumni of the Law School

Alumni of the Law School may be able to receive photocopies of some material by mail or fax. Contact us with inquiries.

Other Washburn Faculty, Students, & General Public

Law Library interlibrary lending services are available only to Washburn Law students, faculty and staff. Other Washburn students, faculty and staff, and the public, may use the interlibrary lending services through the University Library and the Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library.
