Dean Optimistic about Future, Despite Enrollment Decline

Romig is optimistic about the future of Washburn University School of Law.  While the incoming class size this fall will be slightly lower than last fall, he cites low tuition and good employment rates as benefits for choosing Washburn Law over other law schools.

He was recently quoted in the Topeka Capital Journal saying that Washburn Law doesn't adhere to national trends. While applications are down 18.3% nationally, Washburn Law has seen a slight increase in applications this fall over last fall.

"Our tuition is one of the lowest in the country," Romig said. "If you want to be a lawyer, there isn't a better time than right now."
