Constitution Day 2022

In honor of Constitution Day, established in 1932 under the Byrd Act, Washburn University School of Law will present "Checking Our Constitution: What Are We Really Made Of?" on Monday, September 26, 2022 at 12:15 p.m. in Room 102 at Washburn University School of Law.

During the program, Detroit Mercy School of Law Dean Jelani Jefferson Exum will explore the ways in which interpretations of our Constitutional provisions—including concepts of liberty, equality, and punishment—not only give us insight into our societal health and priorities, but also offer opportunities for increased justice if we are courageous enough to pursue them.
