Criminal Law Externships

The Externship Program at Washburn Law provides a wide variety of active practice exposure opportunities for our students. Students interested in the area of criminal law will find opportunities with a wide variety of offices focused on both prosecution and defense work. Students are encouraged to explore careers in this area by applying for externship opportunities to gain experience and determine whether they may want to pursue a career with this focus after law school. Students should consult with the externship program staff to discuss alternatives and evaluate externship placement opportunities.
