Karla Whitaker, Director of Admissions, joined the law school after having served for more than a decade on behalf of Kansas law-related professional associations. She was the Assistant Director of the Kansas Bar Association, having also served the KBA as Continuing Legal Education Director and Media Relations Director. Karla later joined the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association, providing advice and services in the areas of legal education, membership development and fund raising administration. Janessa Akin is the Assistant Director of Admissions.

Alfred L. Bingham Jr. (A.J.) is an Admissions Representative and 2008 graduate of Washburn University School of Law. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Wake Forest University in 2004. During his law school career he held leadership positions with several campus organizations. Additionally, he served on Washburn Law's most recent admissions commitee. A.J. offers ready insight into what Washburn Law seeks in applicants, and why Washburn may be the law school for them. Cassie Carpenter is an Admissions Representative and May 2007 graduate of Washburn University School of Law. While at Washburn, Cassie served as Vice Justice and Justice of Washburn's Phi Alpha Delta (PAD) chapter, the nation's largest legal fraternity. Currently, she is also PAD's Assistant District Justice with responsibilities over chapters in Kansas, Missouri, and Southern Illinois.
