Pro Bono Program

Pro bono service is any law-related work that improves the law, legal system, or legal profession. Our Pro Bono Program encourages students to embrace their future professional obligations by providing legal services to people of limited means under the supervision of a licensed attorney.

"The Washburn Law Pro Bono Program provided me with the means to give back to my community using my newly acquired legal knowledge and skills. The program showed me the resources available to people who need legal aid and also gave me the opportunity to gain legal experience during my law school career. It's never to early to start giving back to the community, and law school is a great time to get into the habit of helping those in need."
