Fundraising Priorities
Since its founding in 1903, Washburn Law has been unwavering in its commitment to providing students the best possible legal education. It has been steered with deliberate intent and forethought. The focus on highly talented faculty, small classes, and incredibly high standards has been the hallmark of the school since its beginning. To continue these strong traditions, we need to continue to invest in four key areas:
- Scholarships for Students
- A Fund to Support the Law Clinic
- A Fund to Support the International and Comparative Law Center
- A Fund to Support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
We need to provide more scholarships so we can continue to attract the best and brightest students, provide funding to support the law clinic, enhance our ability to prepare students to engage with various foreign legal systems, and provide funding to the Faculty Diversity Committee to engage in diversity/equity/inclusion work.
We need everyone's help in achieving these bold goals and to build on our rock-solid foundation. If you have any questions on how you can help move Washburn Law forward, please contact us.
