Winter Intersession and Spring 2023 Class Schedule (Tentative)

Students enrolled in more than 12 credit hours may not work more than 20 hours per week. ABA Standard 304(f).

Note: To print this page properly you may need to adjust print margins.
Go to File | Page Setup...; change the left and right margins to .33 or less. Reset your margins after printing.

The Law School does NOT anticipate extending use of the ABA variance on distance education credits into the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 semesters. All courses NOT designated as "Distance Education" will be offered in a fully in-person format. The Law School does NOT plan to offer in-person courses in a hybrid format during the 2022-2023 academic year unless circumstances develop to warrant a change.

NOTE: No student shall enroll in distance education courses until that student has completed instruction in a minimum of 28 credit hours toward the J.D. degree. No student may use more than 30 credit hours of distance education coursework towards satisfaction of the J.D. degree requirements.

You may enroll in courses that would require two exams on the same day, but you MUST take both exams on that day.

Spring 2023 Regular Course Schedule

Courses marked as "Distance Education" will count towards the 30 credit distance education limit established by ABA Standards. See https://www.washburnlaw.edu/policies/academic.html#distanceed. Because ABA Standards restrict distance learning, students seeking to enroll in the Third Year Anywhere™ should avoid enrolling in any distance education courses before their third year of law school.

Two classrooms have been designated for each course. The number in brackets [ ] is for the new law school building, which the Law School expects to occupy in January 2023. However, in the event of construction delays due to supply chain issues, each course also notes classroom numbers for the current building in parentheses ().
