Law Clinic Grading Policy

After students have been enrolled in Law Clinic, they must elect to take clinic for either a letter grade or credit/no credit.

This policy applies to the Small Business & Nonprofit Transactional Law Clinic and the Litigation Clinic. It does not apply to advanced clinic students or Criminal Appeals Advocacy.

Students have until the end of the day on Monday of the second week of the semester to change their election. Students make their grade or credit/no credit elections confidentially with the dean's office. The election forms will be confidentially stored in the dean's office and released after the grades have been reported to the dean's office at the end of the semester. Students must not share their election with clinic staff of faculty.
