Associate Dean for Academic Affairs / Accommodations

As associate dean for academic affairs, John Francis maintains oversight of the academic components of the law school curriculum. Working closely with faculty and administration, he assists in the preparation of course offerings and teaching schedules and works collaboratively with leadership and faculty in the strategic planning process.

Washburn University School of Law strives to assure equal access and full participation by persons with disabilities. Dean Francis works to ensure that Washburn Law provides a level playing field for our students with disabilities as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act. Dean Francis works closely with faculty and staff to provide the necessary accommodations to meet students' individual needs.
