  • August 27, 2021: Fall 2021 incoming students; Third Year Anywhere(TM) placements; possible impact of Covid-19 Delta variant on January 2021 Barbados CLE Excursion [postponed until 2023]; 2023-2024 ABA site visit.
  • July 26, 2021: Strategic planning; helping recent graduates prepare for the bar examination; and enrolling students for the fall semester; Third Year Anywhere(TM) enrollment option.
  • May 26, 2021: All law school employees returning to work on June 1, 2021; commencement for classes of 2020 and 2021; no furloughs or lay-offs at Washburn during the pandemic; contractors beginning site preparation for new law school building; anticipated return of in-person events.
  • April 28, 2021: Alumni possible participation in 2022 Osaka study abroad; violence against Asian American/Pacific Islander panel; right to a fair trial and Judge Thomas Marten's participation in Free University of Tbilisi, Georgia program; class of 2020 bar exam and employment results; law school program review; and fall 2021 incoming class.

  • December 10, 2020: Holiday 2020 greetings; recent visits with law firms; video tribute for December graduates; AALS Trailblazer Award being presented to Marsha Griggs; January incoming class of students.
  • November 20, 2020: Thanks to all who have supported the law school during the pandemic; move back to all online classes for end of fall semester; Michael Manning's new building campaign capstone gift; expression of appreciation to all who have given; stepped up wellness efforts; and upcoming staff and alumni recognition ceremonies.
